It was nice seeing all of you at the Open House last week.
Grades have been entered yesterday and today throughout all my classes, so please check tonight for those. Student have had multiple time to complete assignments. They have had multiple opportunities to get their notebooks up to date. I explained to them if their assignments weren’t in their notebooks, they were not going to be graded. There is a master copy of what your student’s notebook should look like on my desk that they can refer to at any time. A copy of the power points are posted on our class website (www.deltonamiddleffa.com) They will wrap up their FFA unit tomorrow. They took their FFA test today, some need to finish tomorrow, it was an open note test. I will initial with updated grades on their interim reports on Friday or Monday if needed.
If you have any old magazines at home please send them in with your child. We will be using them next week. There is still time for your student to become a member of FFA. We are currently the only leadership club on campus, that will help develop your students into great leaders, with out them even knowing it.
COLT (Chapter Officer Leadership Training): I have 4 spots open to any FFA member who wishes to attend COLT on Sept. 25th. It is an all day trip that we will bus to Haines City to the FFA Leadership Training Center. The students will participate in workshops with other members from our area and develop their leadership skills. They do not have to be an officer to fill these last 4 spots, but we hope to fill them with anyone interested in becoming an officer in the future. The cost is $25 which includes lunch. They will need to wear official dress. The first 4 kids to bring in their $25 will be the ones who get to attend. I will be in my room before school at 8:15 tomorrow.
