Good Afternoon Charger Families,
Welcome back families! I hope you had a fantastic summer. This is Ms. Plante, each week I will be sending you and update of what will be going on during the week along with any other awesome information that you should be on the look out for. It will be broken down by class period, as each may be different and doing awesome different things.
Please fill out this parent survey, it is very helpful to us. It will only take roughly 3 minutes of your time.
If you miss any weekly emails they can be found in our announcements tab on www.deltonamiddleffa.com.
For those of you who are not aware, there is an inter-curricular club that goes along side the Agriculture classes. The Future Farmers of America or the FFA. This club is NOT only about cows, sows, and plow, but is more of a hands on career ready club that focuses on premier leadership, personal growth and career success, through agriculture education. If your student is in the academy, they automatically become a member of the organization. If they are not but wish to be a member of the FFA, dues are $30, this includes their state, and national dues, and their chapter t-shirt.
There is an academy/alumni (parent support group) meeting tonight, it has been moved to the media center for space and air conditioning, please enter through the Bus Loop. It begins at 6pm. If you have already paid your academy fee please bring a copy of your receipt.
I am very excited for the next school year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. My phone numbers are on the bottom of this email.
